Gary Wollman has served as a special education
instructor for many years in the New York City public school system. Specializing
in music, he organized, wrote, arranged and produced various student music
and choral groups (incl. winner New York State Special Arts Festival Award)
as well as numerous school and community productions. Gary is a graduate
of Masters programs including English, Education and Music from Queens College,
New York. Currently an educator at John Bowne High School, his teaching
musicology and utilizing popular music to teach English has evolved into
a peace and tolerance course which was piloted at the school under the name
of Project X. Gary is also Owner and President of November 28th Productions
(an independent production company) Co- Founder of Humanifest Unity (an
organization that uses the power of technology to promote peace) and the
songwriter/performer, Sage, of recording artists Siren & Sage. Through
his independent production company he has published the song and music video,
entitled "Love Is The Key," produced dozens of original songs,
and has composed over 100 songs yet to be produced. Using the song "Love
Is The Key" to engage young people in the production of a music video,
the final production was played on thousands of cable TV and radio networks
in the US in 1993, (incl. CTV's Lightmusic and WNYC's Video Music Box),
as well as on MNET in South Africa when democracy broke and on Bohemia After
Dark, one of the first music video shows syndicated to air in Eastern Europe
when the wall came down. Gary is currently working on new titles for future
projects. His overall understanding of social/political and economical conditions
around the world, together with his teaching experience with various groups
of diverse young people, have enabled him to produce very rare and valuable
assets that will serve as proprietary content in the digital age.
